About the Saxophone Master Class

The saxophone master class by Eugene Rousseau is designed to meet the needs of participants from diverse backgrounds. There will be master class sessions for performers, as well as master clinics covering virtually every aspect of saxophone playing and pedagogy. Participants will be able to take advantage of a variety of opportunities suited to their needs and backgrounds. High school students are invited to apply as performers or observers.

Accommodations

Discounted hotel rates are available at the nearby Days Inn University (612-623-3999) and the Holiday Inn Metrodome (612-333-4646). When calling for reservations, state that you will be attending the Eugene Rousseau Saxophone Master Class to ensure that you receive the special discounted rate. Qualified pre-college saxophonists will be accepted into the course, but if they are under age 18, they must be accompanied by a designated chaperone when checking into any hotel. Note: To qualify for the discounted hotel rate, reservations must be made no later than September 23.

Applications

Applications will be accepted until spaces are filled and must be accompanied by the $40 (non-refundable) application fee.
