Introducing the New Bachelor of Arts Degree Program
The Bachelor of Arts in Music provides a solid academic foundation in the principles of music theory, ear training, and musicology, in the context of a liberal arts program encompassing cultural studies, critical theory, geography, mathematics, economics, psychology, and a host of other disciplines represented in the College of Liberal Arts and the university at large. Bachelor of Arts majors can focus on Western classical music or expand the scope of their study to include jazz and world music. The Bachelor of Arts is designed to allow flexibility for double major or dual-degree options.
